Beveled Direct Set Windows
We are pleased to announce the introduction of Ultra Series Beveled Direct Set windows to complement contemporary design projects. These durable, aluminum clad windows are glazed to the interior and direct set in the heavy duty extruded aluminum frame.
Beveled Direct Set highlights:
- The profile is integral to the frame exterior, providing a streamlined appearance in addition to the strength of extruded aluminum
- Daylight is maximized due to the glass unit being set directly into the frame without a sash; this also gives a larger view
- The detailed sticking allows for Kolbe's performance divided lite (PDL) options, grilles-in-the-airspace, or interior wood removable grilles
Plus, the same flexible design options are available as for other Ultra Series products:
- LoE-270 insulating glass with argon gas & thermal-edge stainless steel spacers achieve excellent energy performance; other LoE coatings are available
- Laminated glass may be specified for impact resistance
- Patterned or obscure glass may be specified for privacy

Finely-crafted glass may be specified for visual interest - Pine is the standard interior wood species, but other species may be specified, including FSC-certified wood
- Over 30 distinctive colors are available for the 70% fluoropolymer exterior finish, which has a 30-year limited warranty
- Anodized, metallic finishes are available to achieve one-of-a-kind, eye-catching building designs
