uPVC Vinyl with Integral Colors

• The white & beige colors are integral to the vinyl, so they will never need refinishing
• For Windquest IP units to meet Miami-Dade NOA, they must be white vinyl; IP units that are beige vinyl or color-coated can quality for IPD4 and HVHZ, but DO NOT qualify for Miami-Dade NOA

Accessories Option - Exterior Trim for Windquest Series

To ease installation and provide a professional finish, many accessories and trim options are offered for Windquest Series windows and doors. 

• Available in either white or beige
• Applied by snapping into the exterior accessory grove that is an integral part of the window or door frame. 

• Structural Spread Mulls shipped loose for mulling & stacking on the jobsite - required to meet certification (not shown)

Finish Option - Polyurethane

• High-performance, heat-reflective polyurethane exterior color coatings made specifically for vinyl
• Meets performance requirements of AAMA 615-05 voluntary testing procedures for organic coatings on plastic profiles
• 10-year warranty extended directly to the homeowner (view Warranties)
• Warranty is transferable to subsequent homeowners
• Over 25 vibrant colors to choose from
• Custom colors are available; simply provide a sample to your dealer

Glass for Impact Performance (IP) Units

1. Double pane insulating glass unit
2. LoE²-270 on surface #3 or substitute a different LoE coating
3. Argon gas
4. Thermo-Edge stainless steel spacer bars
5.  Impact Laminated Glass - two pieces of glass fused together with a plastic interlayer

• Adds protection in severe weather
• Helps prevent broken glass from causing injury
• Helps to protect against intruders
• Greater UV blockage prevents furniture and fabrics from fading
• Reduces sound transmission

Glass for Energy Performance (EP) Units

1. Triple pane insulating glass unit
2. LoE²-270 on surface #2 or substitute a different LoE coating
3. Argon gas
4. Thermo-Edge stainless steel spacer bars
5. LoE²-180 on surface #5
6. Insulating value nearly twice that of current ENERGY STAR® requirements

Glass Option - Neat Glass

You may request Neat® glass on any product with double or triple pane glass and LoE coating(s)*. Here are the benefits:

1. Rain sheets off more efficiently, so water spotting is reduced
2. Dirt washes away in the rain more readily, so you spend less time cleaning
3. Allows more daylight in than comparable competitive products

How does it work?

A titanium dioxide layer is applied, which reacts chemically with the sun's UV rays and causes organic materials to decompose. When it rains, the dirt rinses away. Plus smoother glass is cleaner glass. The sputter coating process makes the glass ultra smooth, so the water "sheets off" more readily than it would on uncoated glass, and it allows more visible light transmittance than any comparable competitive product.

Performance Divided Lites (PDL)

Performance divided lites offer the appearance of true divided lites without using separate lites of glass. This achieves energy efficiency along with historical beauty. When PDL bars are requested:

1. High-profile, beveled bars are adhered to the interior & exterior of a single insulating glass unit; bar widths include 7/8", 1-1/8", 1-3/4" and 2-1/4"
2. Optionally, low-profile, beveled bars are adhered to the interior of a single insulating glass unit*, while high profile bars are adhered to the exterior; bar widths include 7/8" and 1-1/8"

• The bars are finished to match the exterior or interior of the product
• Champagne-colored spacer bars are positioned within the glass unit to align with the interior & exterior bars, further simulating the appearance of true divided lites
• The spacer bars allow "air flow" throughout the unit, creating a large, unobstructed thermal break

*The optional low-profile interior bars match the standard low-profile interior PDL bars for active double hungs, single hungs & single sliders.

Grilles-in-the-Airspace (GIA) for vinyl products

• Achieves a style similar to true divided panes with unique benefits
• Aluminum bars are sealed within the "airspace" of insulating glass units*
• Easy to clean, with no obstruction on the interior or exterior of the glass unit
• The bars allow air-flow throughout the insulating glass unit, creating an unobstructed thermal break, maintaining an energy efficiency not possible with true divided panes

• Diamond patterns are not available

*For triple pane units, the bars are held within the exterior airspace. GIA are not available on Latitude Series units with triple pane glass or Windquest EP doors.

**The wood "finishes" are wood appearance options and not real wood.
