• 2-5/8" overall frame depth; 1-1/4" nailing fin setback; 1-3/8" interior jamb
• Integral 1-1/4" nailing fin provides easier installation and helps seal the window opening

For Replacement

• 2-5/8" overall frame depth; no nailing fin
• Pre-drilled for installation

Mull Configurations

Rectangular single hungs can be mulled:

• Two-, three-, or four-units wide
• Two- or three-units high
• Up to a maximum of 10-feet wide by 8-feet high
• With studio units to create picture window combinations; for more about studio units & picture combinations, see Double Hungs > Studio/Picture
• With transoms; for more information about transoms, see Double Hungs > Transom

Segment head single hungs can be mulled:

• Two-wide
• With a studio unit and an operating single hung flanking each side to create a segment head single hung picture window combination; for more about studio units & picture combinations, see Double Hungs > Studio/Picture

Whether mulled side-by-side or stacked vertically, the total rough opening width or height of the mulled unit is equal to the rough opening width or height of each individual unit added together.

NOTE: Either one or both pane(s) may be laminated. If products must meet specific impact or design pressure ratings, they may or may not incorporate laminated glass, and may require construction and structural modifications as well.

Glass Option - Neat Glass

You may request Neat® glass on any product with double or triple pane glass and LoE coating(s)*. Here are the benefits:

1. Rain sheets off more efficiently, so water spotting is reduced
2. Dirt washes away in the rain more readily, so you spend less time cleaning
3. Allows more daylight in than comparable competitive products

How does it work?

A titanium dioxide layer is applied, which reacts chemically with the sun's UV rays and causes organic materials to decompose. When it rains, the dirt rinses away. Plus smoother glass is cleaner glass. The sputter coating process makes the glass ultra smooth, so the water "sheets off" more readily than it would on uncoated glass, and it allows more visible light transmittance than any comparable competitive product.

Finely Crafted Glass

• Custom glass options catch and beautifully cast light into your home; some finely crafted glass may include:

NOTES: Other patterns may be available by special order. Rain and Flutex are not available with PDL bars on the obscure glass surface. Ratings for products with obscured or wired glass and/or stained glass shall be deemed to be equivalent to the ratings for clear glass (NFRC 200 Section 4.5.G).

Grilles-in-the-Airspace (GIA) for vinyl products

• Achieves a style similar to true divided panes with unique benefits
• Aluminum bars are sealed within the "airspace" of insulating glass units*
• Easy to clean, with no obstruction on the interior or exterior of the glass unit
• The bars allow air-flow throughout the insulating glass unit, creating an unobstructed thermal break, maintaining an energy efficiency not possible with true divided panes

Includes DP ratings; air and water infiltration test results (psf), and structural test results (psf), Hallmark certification numbers, TDI approval information, FL approval information, HVHZ approval information, and Dade County Notice of Acceptance. Products approved for impact performance are noted with the zone of approval.
• Acoustic Performance Data - Test data for sound transmission loss for wood and vinyl products.
