Traditional Double Hungs have two sash which slide vertically to operate. The sash of many modern double hungs can be tilted in or removed for easy cleaning. There are various operation mechanisms
for traditional double hungs – such as compressed jambliners, constant force balances, cam style locks and keepers. Cottage-style sash, segment heads, and half-circle tops are available in most series.
