Why Choose a Crank-Out XL Awning?
XL Awning windows are designed with heavy-duty hardware that provides smooth, crank-out operation despite very large sizes. They are available with either double- or triple-pane glass and various LoE coatings so they can meet ENERGY STAR® criteria in many climate zones.
The sash of XL Awnings are 2-1/4" thick, like EP Awnings. Specially-designed operating arms and gears help the sash close tightly to the frame, where weatherstripping helps to prevent air infiltration. Plus, XL Awnings have a DP rating of 45.
