The screen frames shown are for most crank-out casements and awnings. 1-3 show the colors Clay, White and Beige, with corner keys for stability. 4-5 show the colors Dark Bronze and Clear Anodized with mitered corners.

StormGuard Combination storm/screen units are available for many Ultra, Heritage & Classic Series double hungs & sliders.* See specific product pages for availability. 

The benefit of combination storm/screen units is that they do not have to be installed for storm seasons or removed for ventilation. The glass storm panels can be closed over the screens for extra protection from harsh weather, but conveniently opened for fresh air.

• Weatherstripping around the inserts ensures a tight fit

Wood-wrapped screen frames are available for many Ultra, Heritage & Classic Series crank-out casements & awnings (including EP & XL). This options offers the ability to more closely match the interior decor with a desired wood species, thereby providing a more refined aesthetic than the standard aluminum screen frames. Please check specific product pages for availability.

Inswing screens are available for most Ultra & Heritage Series push-out casements and awnings and provide very simple pull-in operation and easy removal for cleaning. See specific product pages for availability.

• Latch & strike system secures the screen
• Latch & strike match window handles and enhance the traditional appearance

Retractable screens are available for most Ultra Series crank-out casements & awnings (including EP and XL), Ultra & Heritage Series push-out casements & awnings, as well as Ultra & Heritage Series Sterling double hungs.* See specific product pages for availability, details, and limitations for each product. 

The benefit of retractable screens is undisputed in that they protect the indoors from insects when a window is open and the screen is down. BetterVue screen mesh is visually less noticeable than many screen types on the market. And, when not needed, a simple touch to the center of the "pull bar" sends the screen rolling up smoothly, for an unobstructed view.
