Kolbe Gallery Opens Twin Cities Showroom

Windows and doors for distinguished homes, historic properties & more

Wausau, Wis. (Sept. 2012) – Kolbe invites building, remodeling and design professionals to explore the creative potential of windows and doors in its newly opened Kolbe Gallery Twin Cities. Located at 7545 Washington Ave. S. in Edina, the showroom is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. It also may be visited online at www.kolbegallerytwincities.com. To arrange an appointment for a Saturday or during the evening, please call 866-460-4403.

Kolbe's all wood, aluminum clad or vinyl products can be seen in distinguished homes, historic properties and university projects, restaurants and hospitality destinations and other prestigious buildings throughout Minnesota and across North America. Now, they also can be seen within Kolbe Gallery Twin Cities.

"From traditional to the contemporary, Kolbe provides high quality and highly personalized products for people with discerning tastes and grand visions," says Ron Hopkins, general manager of Kolbe Gallery Twin Cities. "Our showroom presents a comfortable setting to browse, feel and interact with these premium products. We want to help people re-imagine the shape and scale of their windows and doors. We want to give them the freedom to unleash their creativity, to consider bold colors and unique finishes, to dream up their ideal homes with the most expansive views."

Hopkins continues, "We also want them to push performance and take energy efficiency to new levels. Our Minnesota climate means choosing windows and doors with low U-Factors to help keep the warm air indoors and the cold air outdoors."

From the exceptionally energy efficient to the finely crafted artistic, a broad selection of glass choices are displayed in Kolbe Gallery. Accentuating the windows and doors, Kolbe highlights its performance divided lite (PDL) options, grilles-in-the-airspace and interior wood removable grilles.  In addition, visitors will find a wide range of wood species, including those certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, and a variety of hardware, including universal design options.

Along with experiencing the depth of build-to-suit products within Kolbe Gallery, industry professionals may reserve the conference room for presentations and professional development sessions, including customer meetings, BIM demonstrations and American Institute of Architecture continuing education system (AIA/CES) programs. Members of the AIA Minnesota, Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC) and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) Minnesota also can look for the Kolbe Gallery team at organizational events.

In addition to the Twin Cities' showroom, Kolbe Gallery has six other locations. These are in Wausau, Wis.; Baltimore; Seaville, N.J.; Charleston, S.C., Vancouver, British Columbia; and Oakville, Ontario. For an online map, please visit www.kolbegallery.com.
