The U.S. Department of Energy 2011 Solar Decathlon* is over. Congratulations to all participants! These innovative students demonstrated that we have a bright future!

A special congratulations to Purdue, which ranked #2 overall with its "INhome" (photo left). Congratulations and thanks to the teams that incorporated Kolbe® windows and doors into their homes: Purdue University (#2 overall), University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (#7 overall, Energy Balance Tie #7), and Appalachian State University (#12 overall, People's Choice Award Winner).
