3D Models for Revit & SketchUp

3D models offer a great flexibility for design professionals who prefer to work in three dimensions. These models give you the ability to view products from different perspectives, incorporate options, and customize the models for your projects.

3D Models for Revit®

Revit is Building Information Modeling (BIM) software that allows the user to design with parametric modeling and drafting elements.  Intelligence – such as architectural details and product data – can be incorporated into each model. This helps create fully coordinated drawings and schedules.

Kolbe's Ultra Series windows & doors with extruded aluminum cladding on the exterior and wood on the interior are available as Revit models. You may download individual product files from:

*NOTE: If you are running Revit 2012, there is a known bug that will cause errors in Kolbe 3d model families. The error will be fixed if you install Revit 2012 Web Update 1, which is available from Revit Clinic.

3D Models for Google SketchUp™

Google SketchUp allows you to create a 3D model of your project and incorporate other 3D models, such as windows and doors.  These models are useful for providing your client with a realistic, scaled visual of the project.
